BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Reverend Joseph Domfeh
Executive Director of GACDI

Reverend Joseph Domfeh, PhD, is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Sunyani, Ghana and has been working in the Archdiocese of New York. Presently, he is the Associate Pastor at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bedford, New York. He was previously Parochial Vicar at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Nyack, New York. Fr. Domfeh received his PhD in Educational and Administration from Fordham University and his JCL/MA in Canon Law from St. Paul University in Ottawa, Canada. Fr. Domfeh was named Sunyani Diocesan representative in the United States and Canada and has been coordinating fund-raising activities in support of developmental projects such as drilling of water wells to provide clean, safe drinking water and quality healthcare delivery in rural Ghana. Reverend Domfeh currently serves as a board member on The Lifelong Water Project, Inc. and Medicus Christi Foundation, Ltd.

Mr. Dennis E. A. Lynch
General Counselor of GACDI

Mr. Lynch has spent the past 20 years as managing partner of Feerick Lynch MacCartney & Nugent, PLLC Law firm in South Nyack, New York. Mr. Lynch has dealt extensively with the issuance of municipal bonds and other financial transactions that have yielded an impressive economic growth in Yonkers. He is a founding member of The Westchester Bank and currently serves as the Village Justice in South Nyack. He is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court.

Reverend Abraham A. Berko
Director

Reverend Abraham Berko is a priest of the Archdiocese of New. He was ordained to the priesthood on December 8, 1998 and has been serving in the capacity of ordained minister since. He Holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Fordham University Graduate School of Education. He is currently serving as an Associate Pastor at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Staten Island, New York.

Mr. Mark G. Pedretti
Director

Mr. Pedretti is a senior transactional partner at Reed Smith LLP, a large international law firm in New York City and a member of its Executive Committee. Mr. Pedretti has been the lead partner on high profile, multi-billion dollar as well as middle-market, transactions for the firm’s clients in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Middle East. His practice also focuses on public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and management buyouts, particularly in the financial services, technology, media and telecommunications, real estate and hospitality, life sciences and healthcare, manufacturing and industrials, consumer and retail, apparel, restaurant and entertainment industries. He is a co-founder of The Lifelong Water Project, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors of Youth, Inc. a 501 (c)(3) entity which incubates charities that serve New York City inner-city kids.

Mr. Robert L. Melican
Director

Mr. Melican is a Senior Director with New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (H+H) the nation’s largest public hospital system. At H+H, Mr. Melican manages billing and accounts receivable operations. He has extensive experience managing fiscal operations of government provider of health and social services. His previous experience includes consulting with technology companies installing government fiscal systems, an Associate Budget Director with the State of Illinois Governor’s Office of Management and Budget and an Assistant Budget Director with the NYC Major’s Office of Management of Budget. Mr. Melican has a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.

Mrs. Ann Marie Benedicto
Director

Ms. Ann Marie Benedicto is the Vice President of the Joint Commission Center for transforming Healthcare. This Joint Commission Center aims to solve health care’s critical safety and quality problem. Ms. Benedicto was previously the Chief of Staff and Executive Vice President of Support Operation for the Joint Commission from 2008 through 2015. Prior to joining The Joint Commission, she was the administrator for both the Office for Excellence in Patient Care at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Department of Health Policy. She also held finance-related positions at the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation, including reimbursement Director for Bellevue Hospital Center. Most recently, Ms. Benedicto was Assistant Vice President of Hospital Operations at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health Administration and another Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University.

Mr. Christopher J. Zepf.
Director

Mr.  Zepf has 24 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is the founder and managing principal of Kingdom Ridge Capital LLC. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the TUCK School of Business at Dartmouth. He is currently an advisory Board Member for the Investment Management program at Notre Dame and a Board Member for Hekima Place, a Kenyan Home for orphaned girls.
