OUR INITIATIVES
Water
Access to clean, safe drinking water has been one of the many challenges facing people in Ghana. Clean water is life’s basic necessity and thousands die each year as a direct result of contaminated water or water-related diseases such as bacterial and protozoal diarrhea, typhoid fever, dengue fever, yellow fever, river blindness and many others. Many people in rural Ghana rely solely on surface water to meet their daily needs. Women and children walk many miles each day to fetch water in the streams, ponds, and rivers. GACDI was set up to provide safe clean drinking water by drilling wells in rural communities in the Bono region.
Healthcare
Quality healthcare delivery is a major issue facing the residents of the Bono region in Ghana. GADCI is on a life-saving mission to bring medical services to the poor and needy residents of the Bono region in Ghana. GADCI does this by building clinics, providing medical equipment and supplies, medical visits, vaccinations, and counseling for needy families. We believe everyone deserves quality medical care and treatment. GADCI is driven by compassion and love for our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
Education
GADCI is committed to help transform young people’s lives by expanding access, through scholarships and financial assistance for gifted students from the Bono region to attend college and graduate schools in Ghana.
